Welcome to Biology I! This is a lab-based course designed to study living organisms and their physical environments. Students should apply scientific methods of inquiry and research in the examination of the chemical basis of life, cell structure, function and reproduction, energy, natural selection and diversity, and ecology. Laboratory activities, the use of technology, and communication of results through various methods are integral components of this course.
